Subheadings clearly separate the contents page.
Issue number is clearly labelled so the reader can tell which one they are missing, and if they are up to date.
Page numbers are clearly labelled so readers can easily note which page they are interested in.
Band names are in bold so they stand out easily.
Editors note is left at the bottom, this makes the reader feel involved, and as if he is speaking directly to them.

Institution: The organisation is Kerrang! The logo is very well known so from a far the readers would clearly be able to know that it is infact Kerrang! You can clearly see this by the use of the  main image. It is a picture of the new film to be coming out; known as 'Sinister'. We can tell it is a successful magazine as they are offering some viewers to be in a private movie screening of this film. This is rare, and you can tell that Kerrang! will of been paid a lot to advertise this as their main article on the contents page, again, in-dictating this organisation is very wealthy.

Audience: The audience of the magazine seems to be teenagers known as it gives the readers a lot of insight detail on their favourite band members. As the magazine is about a lot of different bands not just one in particular. This means that it is more appealing to a wider range of people.

Representation: The colours used are of reds and blacks this is a typical convention of 'rock and roll'. The format is clear with where the articles are placed within the magazine, the heading are clearly set out with page numbers, and the features have sub headings splitting it all up.
